Job Title: Lead Electrician
Summary: Wires residential and commercial properties to code by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads and interprets blue prints.*
- Supervises apprentice electricians.*
- Know basic NEC Code
- Ability to work independently

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Four to six years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and politely to customers and employees
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work and addressing complaints and resolving problems
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
